
Shipment Bookings
TradeNav allows users to request bookings and estimates for Road, Rail, Air and Sea shipments directly from the platform.
View existing Booking Requests
From the Menu, select Booking Request.

Navigation explained:

Basic Tracking: The landing page displays a a summary of all previously submitted or drafted booking requests​. The mode of transport is displayed in the icon, as well as the status of the shipment request (Draft, Submitted etc.)

Saved Templates: The system allows users to save booking templates which allows quick booking requests in the future.

New Booking Request: Click on the plus icon to create a new booking request.
Create a New Booking Request
Step 1: Click on the + icon to begin the process of creating a new booking request.

Step 2: If applicable, select the relevant entity/organisation the booking is being made on behalf of.

Step 3: Populate the required information:

Standard Details: Enter the Direction, Mode, Load Type and applicable Incoterm

Addresses: Enter the Port of Load and Port of Discharge as well as the Unlocode. The Collection and Delivery address are option for the estimate, and will only be required once the shipment booking has been confirmed.

Transport Details: Optional field for Air and Sea shipments. Enter the Vessel names and Voyage number.

Containers: Enter the contents including load requirements, Weight and Volume

Documents: Upload relevant documentation

Extra Notes: Options Field

Step 4: Complete Booking Request

Save Current: Save the booking request in a draft status and return to it at a later date, or;

Save as Template, or;
-
Request a Booking: Submit the booking Request to Santova.

Step 5: Booking Confirmation

Santova will automatically receive the booking request and prepare the estimate based on the information provided.

The estimate will be shared with the user, and once approved, the Booking will be confirmed and visible for tracking in the TradeNav Shipments functionality.
