Santova Express

TradeNav allows users to access Santova Express services, which offers customers door-to-door international and domestic parcel and document delivery. The Express functionality is setup on a client-by-client basis, please contact Santova if this functionality is not available on your TradeNav app.

Automated, online booking

Instantly book your express courier shipments, anytime, anywhere. Please refer to the below diagram to assist in navigating the Santova Express landing page.

Navigation explained:

​

  • Additional Menu Options: Click the menu to access Shipments, Orders, Settings, Companies, Contact us and Sign out.
     

  • Quick Filters: Easily search for shipments based on various statuses such as Arrived, In Transit or Overdue.
     

  • Application Options: Available if TradeNav has been downloaded on your device, and allows users to access App permissions, Privacy and other Tools. 
     

  • Saved Estimates: View saved estimates and complete the instant shipment booking.
     

  • Basic Tracking: The globe icon returns users to the landing page where there is a summary of all express courier shipments and and basic tracking functionality. See below for more information. 
     

  • New Booking: Easily book new express shipments by clicking the + icon at the bottom, or clicking the '+ New Booking' shortcut in the center. 
     

  • Manage Addresses: View, edit, add and delete global addresses to simplify bookings. Addresses can also be saved while creating a new shipment. 
     

  • Search: Make use of the magnifying glass icon (bottom right) to access the search functionality.

Create a New Booking

Step 1: Click on the + icon or the '+ New Booking' shortcut to begin the process of instantly booking your express courier shipment.

Step 2: Enter the relevant Collection and Delivery Address

  • Santova Express defaults to Saved Addresses, click New Address if required.

  • If entering a New Address, use the search bar to at the top for Google Maps auto-populate

  • Enter the contact person, the collection date and time

  • Click Next to proceed (bottom right)

Step 3: Complete the Package details

  • Enter Goods Description, Goods Replacement Value and indicate the Currency

  • Select Documents or Non Documents

  • Complete the Package information

  • Multiple packages containing multiple Contents can be added

  • Note: The system calculates the chargeable weight based on the higher of actual weight or volumetric weight (calculated on box dimensions) 

  • Click Next to proceed

Step 4: Select the Service and Insurance option

  • Santova Express will display one or multiple services available

  • Review the Collection/Delivery date and Price and select the relevant service

  • Users have the option to add insurance which is provided for by Santova Financial Services (Pty) Ltd (FSP 6018). 
    Tick the checkbox on the right to include insurance.

  • Note: Insurance is charged at 1.5% of the Goods Replacement Value and Freight value, subject to a minimum charge of $7.00.

Please note that the displayed services are calculated using the weight, value, description and dimensions provided. Any incorrect information provided may result in Additional Charges (variance charges) and/or failed delivery of goods. The services charges displayed exclude Statutory Charges such as, but not limited to, Customs Duties, Excise, Handling Charges, VAT, GST and/or any other charges levied by either Origin or Destination territories. These charges will be invoiced to the payor on receipt from the authorities and goods will only be delivered when payments are received in full (for all charges including Additional Charges or Statutory Charges).

Step 5: Confirm shipment details

  • Review shipment information to verify details

  • Users have the option to Save Estimates, once saved the Estimate is valid until the sooner of 5 days or month-end.

  • Click Book to confirm the shipment

  • The shipment will be automatically booked with the relevant service provider, and user will be able to download waybills. 

  • Note: The waybill should be printed by the collection destination
